Terms & conditions

Please be aware that once you have paid your deposit you are accepting all terms and conditions below and confirming your booking.

DEPOSITS

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit required to book your wedding day.

Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Any changes can be added to the booking up to 2 weeks prior to the wedding date, all changes must be made before the final payment is due.

Your booking is not secured until your deposit is paid.

Deposits are taken off the final total of your invoice.

TRIAL

Trial prices are the same as on the wedding date.

Trials must be paid for prior.

We recommend clients to have a trial as this allows us to get an understanding of your theme and style of the wedding, this will then reduce any changes on the wedding date.

Trials include one look, if you completely change your mind on the chosen look you will need to pay the full trial price again and re book another trial date.

Be clear with what look you are going for, do not go for something totally out of the ordinary on your wedding day, it is recommended you just enhance what you naturally feel comfortable in.E.g If you are not a big hair and makeup person don't decide on a dramatic look, if you normally wear your hair down don't go on a tight slick up style.

PAYMENTS

All payments must be made via bank transfer to the nominated account which you can find at the bottom of your invoice. We do not deal with cash on the day due to tax and business management.

PARKING & TRAVEL

All locations requiring payment for parking must be paid for in full by the client on the day or prior.

Toll fees will be included in the total travel cost.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & EARLY MORNING STARTS

All public holidays incur a 10% surcharge and a fee of $50 will be charged with starts before 6am.

MAKEUP AND HAIR APPLICATIONS

Makeup applications can take anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the look you wish to achieve. Hair styling can take anywhere between 40-60 minutes. On wedding days we allocate 1 hour per person to give room for any minor changes or set backs. we would prefer you being ahead of time rather than late. You can make any small changes to your hair and makeup look however if you wish to fully change your hair or makeup a $50 charge will be applied. No refund will be given after the services have been done for any reason.

The Makeup Hut can not be held liable for any damage to the hair or reaction to the skin from makeup applications.

PRODUCT & EQUIPMENT

No other person apart from the Makeup Hut Artist is to touch any product or equipment without consent. Please take care of children, pets near the area as there can be hot tools, glass products, liquids etc. The Makeup Hut can not be held responsible to any accidents. Any loss or damage to our products or equipment by the client, whether its accidental or not will be charged to the client. The replacement of the items must be paid on the day via bank transfer and an invoice will be sent within 24 hours to the client.

STYLISTS

It is a minimum of 4 adults per stylist, if you require more stylists and do not met these minimums there is a $50 call out fee per stylist.

Stylists are allocated depending on availability, if you would like to request a certain stylist please include this information when you inquire.

CANCELLATIONS

No refunds will be given to the client after the final payment is due 2 weeks prior.

Stylists are booked months in advanced and lock in these dates for your wedding date, so no money will be refunded after the 2 week cut off.

If numbers area decreased within 4 weeks of the wedding date there is a $30 per person cancellations fee. Booking fee/deposits are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled at any time.
