Please understand that once you have paid the deposit you are confirming your booking and are accepting all the terms and conditions below. 

 

DEPOSITS

 

 

  • There is a 25% non-refundable deposit of your total invoice required to book your wedding day. 

  • Your booking is not secured until your deposit has been paid.

  • Full payments are to be made 2 weeks prior to the wedding date, no earlier. 

  • Once your quote has been sent, you MUST contact Tamika via email BEFORE you pay your deposit. Do not just transfer the deposit over as dates may be filled during this time. 

  • Dates will not be held for more than 24 hours from when the quote is sent.  

  • Final changes of numbers can be made up to 2 weeks out from the wedding date, you can add onto your quote after 2 weeks but no deductions the full invoice must be met from the 2 week cut off. 

  • It is a minimum of 4 person’s per service for all mobile bookings.

  • Deposits are taken off the final total of your invoice. 

  • Please refer to the covid section in regards to deposits due to covid restrictions. 

 

TRIALS 

 

  • Trial prices are the same as on the wedding date.

  • Trials must be paid for prior to the day. 

  • If you are not sure on a style for your hair and makeup it is a good idea to get a trial prior to ensure there is no disappointment on the wedding day.

  • Trials include one look only. If you completely change your mind on the chosen look you will need to re book another appointment and pay for a full trial again. 

  • Understand what style you are after. Don’t go with a completely different look to what you wear on a day to day basis. If you normally wear your hair down and softly around your face do not choose a slick up style and don’t go for a full glam look if you never wear makeup. You want to be the best version of your natural self on your wedding day. 

 

PAYMENTS

 

  • All payments must be made via bank transfer to the nominated account which is located at the bottom of your personalised invoice. 

  • You must use your invoice NAME + NUMBER whenever you make a payment. 

  • It is suggested you pay your invoice in full 2 weeks out from the wedding date. You can pay off your invoice in instalments but please email Tamika each time with your amount to ensure no payment is missed. 

 

PARKING & TRAVEL

 

  • All locations requiring parking must be paid for by the client on top of travel fees. 

  • If you book hair and makeup you may be required to pay for up to 2 parking spots to cover both stylists. 

  • Toll fees will be included in your travel fees. 

  • Parking for stylist’s must be on the premises not selected car park locations within the area. 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, EARLY MORNING STARTS AND MINIMUMS 

 

  • All public holidays incur a 10% surcharge.

  • Any bookings that hair and makeup starts prior to 6am will be charged $50 per hour before the 6am curfew. 

  • It is a minimum of 4 adults per service for all mobile bookings. (Flower girls are not included) 

  • If you do not meet the minimum requirement it will be a $80 call out fee per stylist.

  • Stylists are allocated depending on availability, if you would like to request a certain stylist please include this information when you enquire and pay your deposit. 

 

MAKEUP AND HAIR APPLICATIONS 

 

  • 1 hour per service is allocated on the wedding day for hair and makeup. 

  • It is required the bride supplies her hair and makeup inspiration photos prior to the wedding day if she has not completed a trial just incase more time is needed to complete her look.

  • It is best to run early on a wedding day rather than late. You are best to be ready and not running behind schedule. 

  • You can make small changes to your hair and makeup look on the day but if you completely change the look there will be an $80 charge. 

  • No refund will be made after the services have been done for any reason. 

  • The Makeup Hut will not be held liable for any damage to the hair or reaction to the skin from makeup applications. 

 

EQUIPMENT 

 

  • No other person apart from The Makeup Hut stylist is to touch any product or equipment unless  advised by the stylist. 

  • Please be aware of any children or pets near any hot tools or products, The Makeup Hut will not be help responsible to any accidents or damage to our products or equipment by the client, whether it is an accident or not the client will be charged. 

  • The client will be charged on the day for any damage made. 

 

CANCELLATIONS + COVID POLICIES 

 

  • No refunds will be given back to the client after the final payment is made 2 weeks prior. Stylists are booked months/years in advance for your wedding date, so no money will be refunded after the 2 week cut off. 

  • If numbers are decreased by 4 from 2 weeks out the full invoice must still be paid. 

  • If a LOCKDOWN occurs and your wedding can no longer take place due to government guidelines your remaining balance minus your non-refundable deposit will be credited to you for 12 months. 

  • The client will forfeit their deposit if they decide to postpone due to border closures or restrictions not due to a government LOCKDOWN. This covers all admin work and loss of income from other bookings being turned away for this date. 

  • If a bridal party member requires a hair and/or a makeup service and cannot attend the wedding due to border closures or restrictions The Makeup Hut must be informed no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. After this there will be an $80 fee per person to cover the minimum requirement fee.
